Allison is considered a pioneer in digital evidence, having founded e.law when this unique field was first emerging.
e.law has implemented many successful high profile projects including the Air Cargo Litigation, the Oil for Food Inquiry the C7 litigation and in 2004, the HIH Royal Commission and the Building and Construction Industry Royal Commission.
Prior to establishing e.law, Allison worked as a litigation lawyer and as Registrar of the Court of Appeal (Qld), where she became involved in technology initiatives throughout Australian superior courts. In addition to running e.law, Allison also continues her studies in digital evidence and she is currently undertaking her PhD in the authentication of electronic evidence. In 2011 Allison’s experience and expertise was rewarded with an Outstanding Alumni Award from QUT.
Allison continues to write and publish widely. Allison also publishes in recognised legal journals and speaks regularly at legal conferences. 2008 Allison was selected as a finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards.
