Bronwyn Smith

Bronwyn is an experienced lawyer with a Bachelor of Law from UTS Sydney in 1993 and was admitted as a Solicitor in NSW in 1994 and admitted to the High Court of Australia in 1994. She has worked in both private practice and in-house legal roles over 18 years including acting for large companies in significant commercial matters.  Bronwyn changed the law in NSW entitling people to claim the cost of a hire car when they were not at fault in a car accident.  As a result of this decision in the NSW Court Appeal, insurance companies now offer hire cars as part of their insurance policies. Her experience encompasses many areas of law including insolvency bankruptcy, Insurance law and litigation including property damage and demurrage.
