Cilla Brookes

Cilla Brookes has considerable experience advocating for parents and children in family law and other related jurisdictions including the Magistrates’ Court (family violence) and Children’s Court (family and criminal divisions). She has criminal law experience on summary and indictable offences and has a background in commercial law. Cilla has worked with Darrer Muir Fleiter Solicitors, Victoria Legal Aid, Victorian Aboriginal Legal Services and the Department of Human Services.
She was admitted to the Bar in 2007 and is qualified as BA, LLB. She has lectured in commercial law at Certificate IV level (Victoria University). Before the law, she worked in industrial relations, sales/marketing and the visual arts.
